operation JJ a success.

After anxiously waiting by my computer for about 15 minutes, I logged onto JJ’s tour site and was successfully able to purchase pre-sale tickets to her show in Toronto. These sweet seats are pretty close to the stage……sigh. CANNOT WAIT!! :)

Talk about a kick-ass birthday present or what! Woo!

JJ is back!

So…I woke up, did my usual morning routine, got to work, checked my email…and BOOM. News is out that Janet Jackson is finally doing another tour. :)

I’m considering this lovely news of her coming to Toronto in March as an early birthday present….hehe.

b b homemaker

Every minute of this video is fashionably delectable. And, her make-up in every scene – even where Miss Homemaker is crying – is heavenly. A+ for the heavy eyeliner usage throughout. Va-va-voom!

But, honestly though, for a homemaker, she ain’t got it so bad if you ask me….especially with those 8 grammies she’s dusting off. :)

M.I.A.

Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam, aka M.I.A. is a songwriter, record producer, singer, rapper, fashion designer, visual artist, and activist…yup, that’s quite a lot for a 35-year-old to have accomplished.

There’s something about her that I find captivating. Maybe it’s her ‘I don’t give a damn’ attitude, or her guerilla art and fashion statements. And, with her new album on its way, I’m sure she’ll further prove her persona is the real deal.
